AFC Toronto is excited to announce the appointment of Billy Wilson as the club's Sporting Director. A co-founder of AFC Toronto, Billy Wilson brings extensive experience in sports management and player development, and is set to lead the club's technical operations as it prepares for its inaugural season in the Northern Super League.
Billy Wilson's career includes significant roles as Executive & Technical Director at North Toronto Soccer Club and Manager of Player Development at Ontario Soccer. Billy has also been a contributing member to the Northern Super League’s Football Committee that is responsible for developing the competition framework and technical standards for the new league. His contributions have been pivotal in transforming clubs and nurturing talent, with many players progressing to professional and national team levels.

As Sporting Director, Wilson will oversee all technical operations of the club, including the development of the football philosophy, recruitment, coaching, medical, and sports science.
